I’m not a passionate fan of the flight, but I liked to be among the admirers of this show, much awaited lately. The Tuzla event, with an 11-year tradition, has gathered an impressive number of people, about 17,000 spectators who – ignoring the strong August sun – witnessed some of the most beautiful aerial acrobatics demonstrations.
Together with some colleagues from the Avatar Photography School, we arrived at the Aerodrome long before the show started to get photographers’ credentials. Nikon, the official partner of the event, has facilitated us access to a secure area within the perimeter dedicated to the take-off of planes.
At the opening of the event, we were invited to admire a superb collection of vintage cars.
The aviation performance was exceptional and kept us with the eyes up in the sky for hours.
A beautiful fireworks followed, and the evening ended with a live rock concert.
As with any event of this kind, the organizers also thought about the needs of the spectators and arranged special places where to quench your thirst and hunger, as well as tents with seats where you can shelter from the sun with a beer or water. And if you were lucky enough, they could be cooled too 🙂
As a personal conclusion, the event was almost irreproachable, except that it was the first year that the purchase of tokens that you would later give in exchange for a drink or a meal was more difficult than the organizers anticipated.
I’ll leave you with photos captured at this magnificent show, which you can see here.
Until next time, I hug you!
